Some people are just too soft to succeed in life. 

Just small obstacle on their way to getting something, they will throw in the towel immediately and start sulking.

Once they apply once for anything and they don't get it or get rejected once, that's the end. They won't try again. 

Small stress/pressure at work, they will start thinking of quitting.

They have an appointment with someone, just a slow and steady traffic on the road, they are already thinking of cancelling the appointment.

You find someone who wrote a book that no one bought even his family members and as a result he has concluded that he won't write anything not even his name again.

Even when it comes to relationship, you will hear a lady who is 35 say 'All men are the same'. If you ask her to tell you how many relationships she has been in, you will be shocked when she tells you 'One' when she was 25 years old. 

Just a not-nice experience with one man and you locked your heart and threw the key away?

We really should learn from MTN, AIRTEL & GLO. 

When you call a friend whose phone is off, the automated response on MTN is  'The number you are trying to call is switched off, please TRY AGAIN LATER'.

Meaning that, this person is presently unavailable but you should try again later as you might be lucky to find this person's phone on. 

You don't even know how close you are to getting what you want if you don't try again. 

For as long as it is Potatoes not a 'stone' you are boiling, try to wait a bit and you may win.

Knowing > Feelings

Why is it that some of the saddest moments or feelings mostly tend to come after a moment of tremendous joy and good news?  Just imagine that you were happy about something, could be a job or a relationship and some moments later, you become sad and have almost the exact opposite feeling of what you once felt. A friend walked up to me and told me how that he asked a lady to be his, she said YES, he was happy but just two weeks later, he started feeling unhappy and thoughts about if he made a bad move filled his heart. He was sincere enough to tell me the lady didn't do anything wrong. So that I am clear on what advice to give, I asked him, 'How long have you both known?' He said 3 years. The state that describes how that a clown 馃ぁ who makes people laugh but still battles depression and anxiety is called 'Sad Clown Paradox'. There's a research that showed many comedians battle with self-esteem and childhood trauma issues. Some very early saw making people laugh as a self-preservation technique in the sense that it can detach them from any adversity faced allowing for perceived control over uncomfortable situations. Whilst they make you laugh, some cry in their rooms. Some even settle for drug and substance abuse.
