A different fight馃憡

As a PO at a general election in Nigeria.

I saw a mate from NYSC many years back, I asked him how he was doing, he said fine.

He told me that he presently isn't working like that.

Why?

He does a once in a while job that pays him like N10,000 monthly and said he is fine with that.

I asked him, where he stays.

Apparently, his parents have their own house in Lagos. He stays there.

I whispered in my soul (no wonder).

He CAN reject strategic jobs but not me.

I that came to Lagos after service through night bus and started squatting with a friend who was squatting with another friend. After 4 months, we had to leave.

I am grateful for what I have been able to do, gather, invent and still doing everyday.

See this your, I can't do this, I can't do that is a statement that mustn't cross your mouth even if it crosses your mind at times.

You take some jobs because they are what you have now while looking for what you truly want.

It's in the night that a hustler, will know that what he carried in the day was heavy. (only Yorubas can understand).

I don't know who this is for but you know yourself.

Your fight is different!
