See Rejection Differently

When you are rejected by an organization, when your scholarship application is rejected, when you are denied entry into a group, when your Visa application is rejected or when the lady you desire, says NO despite ticking the required boxes, how do you feel ?

Let me guess, you feel sad, discouraged, lonely, cursed and maybe even depressed, shey?馃ゲ

Many of the 'strong' persons you see today have faced and still face rejection at one point or the other but they still chose to be strong. 

They have an understanding that rejection is more about the rejector than the rejected. 

Organizations and people have preferences that they have decided upon based on their background, experience or knowledge level of how things work. 

Rejection normally seem to be a sign of being hated or not loved. 

But you see, sometimes, God uses rejection to pull you out of trouble in advance.

A young man got a fully paid scholarship to study in an European country from Nigeria. 

His flight arrangement was that he will get to another African country before connecting to another flight to the European nation. 

When he got to the African Country, while waiting for the connecting flight, he was arrested and locked up immediately without questions by the security agencies. They seized his documents and left him in the cell without questions. 

He was dumbfounded, didn't know what to do, who to call and how to call who to call. 

While he was in the cell, the connecting plane left without him. 

It was 30minutes after that time, the security agencies who arrested him came to apologize to him. They said he looked like a drug lord they have been tracking for some days. He was given his documents, bags back and offered to pass him to the next plane going to the European nation. 

As he sat at the lobby drinking chilled malt with plantain chips, he saw on TV that a plane had crashed and no one survived. He looked at the plane details displayed on the screen and saw that it was the exact plane he would have boarded if he wasn't held back at the airport.

Tear dropped from his eyes as he couldn't believe his eyes.馃ゲ

See, rejection can be an act of His love towards you.

You are being preserved and kept by the finger of your maker. 

When things aren't going right, choose to look on the brighter side.

Nneka and Landlord Palava (True Story)

In June 2022, a school owner got a call from her landlord to remind her of the imminent expiration of the school building rent by November.  Precisely November 2020 (just after COVID), Nneka resigned from working in a bank to start a Nursery and Primary School.  Nneka has always been passionate about educating people. King Sunny Ade as a young man and an upcoming artist desired visibility, platforms and money. He was introduced to Chief Bolarinwa Abioro who had a popular record label at that time. The same man used to pay artists like Ayinde Bakare, Sikiru Ayinde Barrister and even Pa Ebenezer Obey  On meeting Chief Abioro, KSA prostrated like a proper yoruba champ.  He asked King Sunny Ade questions to which he answered. He was presented a contract to which he appended his signature quickly. He was eager to be heard by the world 馃榿馃拑馃徏馃寧. What he didn't know was that, in that contract it was stated that, on the sale of every album which was then fixed at N6, King Sunny Ade & His boys were entitled to a sum of 20Kobo while His boss got N5.80Kobo .馃檰馃徑‍♂️ You too do the Maths.  Fair?  It took Late Chief Fawehinmi to help King Sunny Ade recover his due after a long court battle.  You will agree that in life some decisions requires time, scrutiny and conviction than others....
