Choose one!
One of the biggest issues in this time and age is 'indecision'.
It is becoming increasingly difficult to choose a job, business or a person and commit to it.
There is the question 'What if I commit to this one and another one comes that is better than this?'
Usually, people who think like this..
1. Lose jobs. The recruiting company has a deadline and may fill the role with someone else who is decisive and chooses them.
2. Lose out on the gains of executing fantastic ideas. Every problem you spot is not peculiar to only your eyes. There are others who have spotted it too. Once you delay because of indecisiveness, someone else who sees the problem and offers himself to solve it, funds to support that decision flow to his direction.
3. Lose out on a person or people. This is common. Soon, the person who is cool seeking for your love and asked you both to be together but you are indecisive and can't decide because you are hoping that soon a better person will come by will get tired and will undoubtedly move on. People want you to choose them even as they choose you.
Let me tell you a story.
Some years ago, a friend of mine noticed that He wasn't getting called for interviews.
One day, He saw an advert for a role of which He applied through a WhatsApp number. The owner of the phone number acknowledged His message but that was all.
After 7 days, He reached him and asked if there was any update, the recruiter responded that the role had been filled. He asked him to honestly tell me why He wasn't picked even for an interview. He said my friend's CV shown that he didn't stay more than 6 months in most of the companies He had worked.
The recruiter told him that he didn't look like a person who could make a decision and stand by it.
Whereas, most the companies/organizations on my friend's CV were companies He volunteered for to do projects with with a timeframe and were not mostly paid.
My friend immediately adjusted his CV and got a job within three weeks.
He was fortunate that the recruiter told him what he needed to fix.
Many people have lost opportunities because of being indecisive.
Some people don't realize this till they are well-advanced in age.
In life, you will have to choose based on certain basics and stick to your choice with God on your side.
Life will play games with you if you don't decipher this early.
The grass is not always greener on the other side, my friends.
