Why Job Seekers Must Vote Tomorrow?

The Government in most African countries is the largest employer of labour.

If you use Nigeria as a case study, you will realise that the major employer of Labour here is FG.

Programs like - N-power, N-teach , Nigeria Jubilee Program and many others were designed to reduce the number of persons unemployed.

Although, pay may not be so great but at least you can put food on your table.

As reported in March 2022, the second major employer of labour in Nigeria is Dangote.

Fundamentally, the FG needs support from the Private Sector to help reduce the unemployment rate.

See ehn, in a normal setting - The President of any nation selects his team of tactful and skilled people who can pierce into lingering issues of concern and suggest ways of attracting high employers of labour. They recommend their possible solutions, get approval and then execute.

Employers are always motivated to setup businesses if policies are favourable to them making profit, environment is positive and in return impact their communities positively. They can then employ more individuals by opening branches everywhere.

Reasonably steady power supply, improved security, fair tax etc are factors considered at the most basic level.

Whoever emerges as President tomorrow will play a major role.

He has to pick the right team (from different backgrounds), that can think the right way and he has to be alert enough to spot loop holes in ideas, approve when necessary and pass for execution.

An unfavourable policy can cause some companies to close their branches which implies that the guys working in those branches become automatically unemployed.

Sound mind, experience and exposure are required to get this done.

As a job seeker, whoever emerges tomorrow will either prolong your pain or increase your chances of getting called up quicker.

Vote and do it bearing your future in mind.
